Casey's of Baltimore Hotel is a 3 Star hotel occupying a stunning, serene location overlooking the natural harbour and the Ilen river estuary in the small but picturesque fishing & tourist village of Baltimore in West Cork, situated on the south west coast of Ireland between kinsale & Kilarney commanding grand views of the wild, rugged scenery which typifies this region - being ideal for family holidays having many activities available in the area - seakayaking, whale watching, sea fishing and sailing.

About two years ago we started focusing on ways that we could really soften our carbon footprint to protect our green enviroment.

Casey’s of Baltimore have installed a 2,000 litre solar hot water system to provide guest rooms, restaurants, laundry facilities, and hotel restrooms with solar hot water previously provided by an oil – fired system.This solar hot water system is made up of evacuated tubes (glass tubes that have the air drawn out of them) in panels which soak up the heat of the sun. The original boiler that supplied the hotel with heated water remain as backup.

Of course, beside the money saved, and perhaps more importantly, air pollution is reduced drastically.

Our 14 en suite bedrooms are spacious & have all the comforts one associates with quality accommodation . King-size beds, satellite TV, radio channel, direct dial telephone, Hot Beverage facility, a hairdryer and trouser press have all been provided for the convenience and comfort of guests. The rooms have been decorated to the highest standard, the bright, cheerful decor complimenting the crisp white linen and pine furniture. A choice of Breakfast including Full Irish is available
